Scholarship programme for Ukrainian students at European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder)

Since 1997, European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) offers a special study and scholarship programme for Ukrainian students with the following study options:
a two-year Master’s programme in International Business Administration, European Studies, European Cultural History, Culture and History of Central and Eastern Europe, Socio-Cultural Studies or Languages. Communication and Cultures in Europe for students having a Ukrainian baccalaureus or higher academic degree and very good German and English language skills;
a one-year programme Magister legum (LL.M.) for students having a law degree from a Ukrainian university and very good German language skills.

A one-month preparatory course is an obligatory part of both programmes. Students will complete it by passing the DSH exam (German language proficiency test for higher education).
The programme starts on 1 September 2017 with preparatory courses and ends on 30 September 2019 (for LL.M. students on 30 September 2018). Up to 6 Ukrainian students can take part in the programme in case qualified candidates can be selected.
The programme is financed by the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany in cooperation with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). According to the new requirements of the DAAD, the programme includes a monthly scholarship of 750 ËUR and covers additional costs for preparation courses and mentoring.
Candidates should submit their applications to the DAAD Information Centre in Kyiv. The preliminary selection will be made there, while European University Viadrina will carry out the final selection.
